Andre Ford

My name is Andre Ford and I am your Foley artist, Sound designer, artist, and content creator. With a new and different perspective in Foley SFX / Sound design, audio integration, and more, I am who you need.  

 

I've recently finished a study on how Foley art can enhance the immersive experience of visual media. The importance of high-quality sound assets and smooth integration into a soundscape are key areas with visual media that are often overlooked. I have taken it upon myself to look deeper into immersive sound and incorporate technology such as Dolby Atmos in these endeavors.

 

 When I'm not creating sounds or starting a new art piece, I can be found playing squash with my team or participating in competitive E-sport games. I'm often operating under much pressure and remain busy throughout the week where I can. This allows me to keep an active life, build communities outside of my career and keep me physically and mentally healthy. 

No one ever gets to see Foley artists at work, and they're so strange. They see the world differently: things as things that might make sounds that sound like other things.
